Watch the full video: How to Submit Reports in Readily (1 min 21 sec)
Every report or universe the health plan expects from you appears as its own row in Readily with a due date and a status. Submitting is a drag-and-drop upload; Readily checks the template and scrubs the data as soon as the file lands.
Open Report Submissions
Expand the left-hand navigation and click Report Submissions under Reporting. This is the list of everything being requested from your organization.
Find the report that is due
Each row is one report for one period. The Status column tells you where it stands: Past Due, Due Soon, Pending or Returned. The Deadline, Upstream Entity and Regulatory Body columns help you confirm you have the right one. Use the filters across the top to narrow the list by date range, frequency, entity, regulator or status.
Optional: switch to the calendar view
Click Calendar in the top-right corner to see the same reports laid out by due date. This is the easiest way to see what is coming up in the next few weeks. Click List to go back.
Open the report
Click the row to open the submission page for that period.
Confirm the details before you upload
The panel on the right shows the deadline, who you are submitting to (Upstream Entity and Regulator), the frequency, the program area and the universe table. Check these first: uploading the right file to the wrong report is the most common mix-up. Download Template gives you the exact column headers this report expects.
Upload your file
Click Upload Universe (or drag the file onto the upload area) and choose your .xlsx or .csv. If you have no records for the period, use Submit with no records instead of uploading an empty file.
Watch the template check and scrub
Readily runs three checks in order: Template check (do your columns match?), Ingest rows, and Validate rows. When it finishes you land on the Data View with any issues listed on the right. From there you can download the error report or work through the issues in the platform. Template errors are covered in the "Fixing Template Errors" article; data errors in "Identifying and Fixing Data Errors".
Tips
Check the due date on the row before you upload. Do not submit a period early unless the health plan has asked you to.
Always start from the template downloaded from the submission page so the headers match exactly.
Do not upload the same file twice; use Upload new version on the existing submission if you need to replace it.
